ITresources is providing Help Desk support to the recently created American Honda Service Express web site starting December 2, 2002.
American Honda Motors Co. has developed a web site exclusively for Independent Repair Facilities (IRFs) to make available official service information for Honda and Acura vehicles. This new service directly assists the IRFs and indirectly benefits those who drive Honda and Acura vehicles by potentially improving the quality of service.
Honda's Service Express is the IRFs portal to official Honda and Acura service information, providing them with the latest factory service information, including diagnostic, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair procedures. Information is updated weekly, and covers all 1996 and newer vehicles.
IRFs can access the web site with a 21-day free trial. After that time period, monthly subscriptions are available to provide detailed maintenance, service, diagnostic, and repair procedures, which are written and illustrated by Honda service professionals.
ITresources is pleased to work with American Honda to ensure the success of its new web site by providing extensive Help Desk services to the Independent Repair Facilities. The IRFs can call a central number Monday - Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for assistance regarding subscription enrollment, web-site content, and other general inquiries. As part of its services, ITresources will summarize Help Desk call information in monthly reports to American Honda so Honda can maintain its web site, making it responsive to IRF needs.
